This sem has been the weirdest one by far in terms of workload. I had to hit the ground flying when the semester started with my design project. Up to 12 hours a day of hardcore work. Non stop for four weeks. As the weeks drew on, its difficult for me to even put together 12 hours of work in what.. 4 days, not counting classes that I have to attend.

There seems to be a lack or urgency due to the slacker modules. Geotechincal engineering and foundation engineering is by far the two slackiest modules in terms of content and workload in the entire civil engineering programme. Graduate modules are not very far behind...

The modules that I've taken this sem seems to be more quiz based than group projects. Not counting the design project.. Could this be the reason I feel more free? And In a way, I miss group projects. *fends off all the curses thrown at me as ppl, or anyone, read this* I find it fun to interact with people. Of course this assumes that you've got excellent group mates. Or even as least one other capable member.

Studying for quizzes is no fun. You hide out in your own respective bunkers studying to beat the other 99.99% in the bell curve. And when you fail in a quiz, you only have you to blame..

Or am I just shifting blame?
